State Rules
Washington attorneys may satisfy all 45 credits through online courses. At least 15 credit hours must be earned in the subject of law and legal procedure, plus a minimum of 6 credit hours of legal ethics (of which a minimum of 1 credit hour of equity, inclusion, and the mitigation of both implicit and explicit bias in the legal profession and the practice of law - beginning with the 2023 - 2025 compliance cycle). Washington attorneys with a 2022, 2023, or 2024 deadline should complete 6 ethics credit hours.) Attorneys are limited to obtaining 8 hours of MCLE per day.
