Within 12 months of admission to the Idaho State Bar, newly admitted attorneys must complete at least 10 New Admittee Credit-Approved (NAC-Approved) CLE credits. Of these 10 NAC-Approved CLE credits, attorneys must complete courses specifically addressing Idaho substantive law on ethics, civil and criminal procedure, and community property.

Yes, Attorney Credits does report your completed courses to the Idaho State Bar. We will report your course attendance within 30 days of course completion. We report on the 1st and 15th of every month. In addition, we also maintain a record of all your completed courses and you can access your certificates of completion at anytime from our website.
You must submit a written report of attendance to the Idaho State Bar at the end of each 3 year compliance period. The reporting form is called the MCLE Certificate of Compliance. The Certificate of Compliance will be provided to each reporting attorney at the end of the compliance period. All courses that have been completed in the attorney's current MCLE reporting period will be preprinted on the certificate. You must submit the Certificate of Compliance by February 1 verifying your MCLE compliance.

You can access AttorneyCredits.com and complete your Idaho state bar CLE courses on most computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones so you can study your MCLE courses where it’s convenient for you! Attorney Credits’ online and downloadable MCLE courses have all been approved for self-study credit by the Idaho State Bar. Under the Idaho MCLE Rules, Idaho attorneys may complete up to 15 ID MCLE credit hours through online on-demand MCLE courses as part of the 30 hour Idaho MCLE requirement.
Idaho attorneys must complete 30 ID MCLE credits each 3-year Idaho MCLE compliance period, including 3 credit hours of Legal Ethics. The Idaho CLE compliance period ends on December 31 and the deadline to report ID MCLE compliance is February 1. Idaho attorneys must submit a written Certificate of Compliance on a form prescribed by the Idaho MCLE Board verifying the attorney’s MCLE compliance for the applicable reporting period. If your ID MCLE hours are not completed within the proscribed deadlines you may be subject to fines and suspension and you will still be required to attend the required MCLE hours to meet your ID MCLE requirement. Idaho attorneys may complete up to 15 hours of ID MCLE credit per year earned through on-demand MCLE courses. Attorney Credits’ online and downloadable ID MCLE courses have all been approved for self-study credit by State Bar of Idaho.
