Within 30 days of completing a CLE course, you must submit a signed certificate of completion to the Director of the Kentucky Continuing Legal Education Commission. Certification for Kentucky CLE courses must not be submitted later than August 10.

Each member of the Kentucky Bar must complete 12.5 hours of approved Kentucky CLE each annual compliance period, which runs from July 1 to June 30. As part of the 12.5 unit CLE requirement, Kentucky attorneys must complete 2 hours in the area of legal ethics, professional responsibility or professionalism. Within 30 days of completing a KY state bar CLE course, you must submit a signed Certificate of Completion to the Director of the Kentucky CLE Commission. Certification of Kentucky CLE courses must not be submitted later than the August 10.
Any certification of a KY CLE activity that is submitted after August 10 will be deemed past due and in non-compliance. If you fail to report your KY state bar CLE compliance on time you may be eligible to submit a plan for making up your Kentucky CLE delinquency.
