Are Attorney Credits CLE Course's approved in my state?

We currently offer CLE in 48 states plus DC and Puerto Rico. The only states we don't offer CLE in are Arkansas and Wisconsin. Please see our State Requirements page for specifics.

Do You Report to My State?

Many states require providers to report your completed courses. For state specific reporting details click on your state from the map here.

What are the system requirements for viewing courses?

Our site works on all desktop, laptop and mobile devices without the need for additional software. We recommend that you have the latest operating system and browser version. Our site will run on Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android based systems. See our System Requirements page for full details.

Do my credits expire?

Credits do NOT expire. Use your credits now – or 5 years from now. Your credits do not expire.

Is there a time limit when completing a course?

We don’t impose a time limit – some companies will only allow you 1 year or less to access your courses – we don’t. However, you must complete the course before the course accreditation expires. Each state has different approval periods – from 1 to 5 years.

Can I swap courses?

Yes. If you purchase an online bundle or course you can exchange courses after purchase. Just click the Exchange Course button from the Enrolled Courses page. If you buy a CD, MP3 Player or USB Stick Bundle you cannot swap courses.

You can easily reset your password by email from the LOGIN page. Click Login and look for the “Forgot your password?” link.

What are the completion dates on the certificates?

The certificate date is the date you obtain your certificate on the website. Once you complete an online course our system will automatically walk you through the steps to get the certificate. For downloadable and offline courses you must come back to the website to get the certificate after you complete the course.

Do courses include written materials?

Yes! Each course has detailed written materials in PDF format that include: outlines, power points, practice documents, case law, statutes and other helpful resources.

STATE REPORTING

When do you report completed courses to my state?

If we report completed courses to your state, our automated reports run on the 1st and 15th of each month. Except for Texas – where we report every Monday and on the 1st.

How do you report completed courses to my state?

We report your completed courses based on the bar number that you add to your account. Please make sure you enter the bar number correctly, so we can properly report the completed courses.

Where is the course ID or course activity number?

The course ID or activity number is printed on the Certificate of Completion. Every time you complete a course a certificate will be issued. Your certificates are located on the Certificates page.

How do I report my hours in a self-reporting state?

It depends on the states you need the credit for. Click on the State CLE info link to see your state’s specific reporting requirements.

How do I watch or listen to a course?

Work online or offline – Attorney Credits offers multiple media options for you to complete your CLE. Depending on the Rules of your state, you may take courses in the following media formats:

Streaming Video

Watch online at www.AttorneyCredits.com on your computer, smart phone or tablet. Constant broadband internet connection needed.

Video Download

Download and save a course in the MP4 video format. Watch on your computer, laptop, tablet, iPhone, iPad or smart phone. Once you download the file you can watch anytime – even without an internet connection. Log back in to our site after course completion to get your certificate.

MP3 Download

Download and save a course in the MP3 audio format. Listen on your computer, laptop, tablet, iPhone, iPad, smart phone or MP3 player. Once you download the file you can listen anytime – even without an internet connection. Log back in to our site after course completion to get your certificate.

CD Bundle

We send you a set of Compact Discs (CDs). Listen to your courses with any compatible device. Great for attorneys stuck in traffic!

MP3 Player Bundle

We send you an MP3 Player pre-loaded with MP3 courses. Use the included ear buds to listen to your courses.

USB Stick Bundle

We send you an 8 GB USB stick pre-loaded with video and audio courses. Plug the USB stick into your computer, laptop, or tablet and view or listen to your CLE courses.

Do I always need an Internet connection to view courses?

No. Attorney Credits offers online and offline courses in almost every state. If you prefer to study your CLE courses offline you can buy an Online Bundle and download your courses in audio or video format. Or you can purchase a CD, MP3 Player or USB Stick compliance package.

How do you download video & MP3 courses?

How do I complete offline video and MP3 courses?

After you download and save the course to your computer, tablet or smart phone just click on the file and start viewing or listening. All modern computers, phones, and tablets will play these courses using programs such as Windows Media Player, iTunes and many others. After you finish the course, log back into the site to get your certificate.

I want to download either the video or MP3 file to my iPhone or iPad?

Can I review a course after I complete it?

Once you complete a course, you have 365 days to review or re-download the course and written materials.

Can I receive credit for multiple states for the same course?

Are you licensed in California, New York, Illinois and Texas? We got you covered!

Since we offer CLE in 48 states, you can get certificates for multiple states – for the same course. Just list all the states you’re licensed in when you sign up and check the state box before you start the course. Click here for detailed instructions.

SUPPORT ISSUES

How do I login?

Click the Login button in the upper right corner of our website. On the login page please enter your email address and password. Please be advised that the login is case sensitive and make sure that the CAPS lock is off. Once you have entered your email address and password click Login.

The website does not recognize my email/password?

Click the “Forgot your password?” link from the Login page. Enter your email address and click Send. Check your email including your SPAM folder. Open the email and click the link to reset your password.

I am missing courses from my original purchase?

You probably signed up for courses that expired. While your credits never expire, courses will periodically expire due to state’s CLE rules. However, since credits don’t expire with us, we have added the missing credits to your account so you can add another course(s)/bundle.

Do you warn me if a course is going to expire?

We send emails and include notes on the Enrolled Courses page 30 days before courses expire.

I have credits – how to I take my remaining courses?

If you have credits you can add courses by clicking Add Course.

GENERAL SALES ISSUES

How do annual subscription plans work?

Take as many courses as you can for 1 year! Annual unlimited subscription plan credits are valid for 365 days from purchase. All courses must be completed within 1 year of purchase.

If I buy a CD, MP3 or USB Stick Bundle when do you ship?

Our UPS shipping cutoff time is 12:30 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday on regular UPS shipping days.

What are my shipping options?

We offer UPS ground, 2nd business day and next business day shipping options.

PAYMENT

What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa, AMEX, Mastercard, Discover or PayPal.

Do you store credit card information?

For your safety, as part of our site security, and to protect your information we do not store your credit card number.

After I pay how long until I can get started?

If you purchase an online bundle or course you can begin right away! If you buy a CD, MP3 Player or USB Stick Bundle we must ship it do you before you can get started.

REFUNDS

What is your money back guarantee?

Attorney Credits offers a Risk Free Money Back Guarantee on any course, bundle, or plan purchase. If you are not satisfied please let us know and we will refund your money.

How do I get a full refund?

For a full refund please notify us BEFORE you finish your first course – DO NOT TAKE A SECOND COURSE. Full refunds will not be issued after you have completed one or more courses, otherwise the refunds are prorated at the full per credit price.

Can I wait 1 year to request my refund?

No. Refunds will also only be issued if requested within 60 days of purchase. No refunds will be given after 60 days.

Are refunds available for CD, MP3 and USB Stick Bundles? What about shipping and handling?

Refunds, less shipping, are available to anyone who is displeased with our CDs, MP3 Player, or USB Stick Bundle. However, the CDs, USB Stick, and MP3 Players must be returned in like new condition in the original packaging.

How do I get the CD, MP3 or USB Stick back to Attorney Credits?

Will you refund my shipping charge?

No. Shipping charges are not refundable.
