To meet the Kentucky Continuing Legal Education requirement, at least 2 of the 12 CLE hours must be earned in the area of ethics and professional responsibility. Failure to meet the KY Bar CLE requirement can lead to fines and court imposed sanctions, including the suspension of your law license. New lawyers (those attorneys in the first year of membership) have a special CLE requirement under Supreme Court Rule 3.
