Thirty credit hours every 2 years – including 4 required hours of Professional Responsibility, 1 hour of Diversity & Inclusion and 1 hour of Mental Health and Substance.
Starting with the 7/1/2017-6/30/2019 compliance group the Professional Responsibility requirement has been modified. All Illinois attorneys will be required to complete a minimum of 1 hour of Diversity & Inclusion and 1 hour of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. The rule change does not affect the total number of hours required to fulfill the Professional Responsibility requirement, which remains at 6.
