Experienced Attorneys

Experienced attorneys must complete a total of 24 New York CLE credit hours during their biennial reporting cycle. You must file your attorney registration form and complete your NY CLE requirement within 30 days of your birthday on alternate years. Experienced attorneys can take all 24 required CLE credits including ethics, diversity and the cybersecurity requirement online through Attorney Credits.

Newly Admitted Attorneys

Newly admitted attorneys must complete a total of 32 CLE credit hours during their first two years - 16 before the first anniversary of admission and 16 during the second year of admission. Newly admitted attorneys can take a maximum of 14 CLE credits from our website, in the categories of law practice management and areas of professional practice only.
