Oklahoma attorneys must complete a minimum of twelve (12) CLE credit hours during the calendar year. At least one (1) of the twelve (12) CLE credit hours must also be approved for legal ethics. No more than six (6) of the twelve (12) CLE credits can be earned by participating in online CLE courses. The period from January 1 through December 31 is the Oklahoma MCLE compliance period. If you complete your educational requirements after December 31, you will be assessed a $100 fee for late compliance. The Oklahoma MCLE rules no longer require an Annual Report of Compliance to be filed if your MCLE record reflects that you have completed the required hours by December 31. However, the Annual Report of Compliance must be filed by bar members who do not have sufficient CLE credit on their MCLE record by December 31 or by members that must report an exemption.
