How many CLE hours are required?

Fifteen credit hours every year - including 2 required hours of legal ethics.

How many CLE hours can I take through Attorney Credits?

How do Attorney Credits' CLE courses qualify for credit in Wyoming?

What is the requirement for newly admitted attorneys?

Newly admitted attorneys must attend a 6 hour continuing legal education course entitled "Pathways to Professional Practice" within 12 months from the date of admission to the Wyoming State Bar. The Pathways course is only conducted by the Wyoming State Bar and is available at least twice each year, as designated by the Wyoming State Bar.

Does Attorney Credits offer courses for newly admitted attorneys?

No. The "Pathways to Professional Practice" is only offered by the Wyoming State Bar.

Can I carry hours forward to the next year?

Yes, up to 30 credit hours may be carried over to the next compliance period, including 4 hours of legal ethics.

Does Attorney Credits verify my completion?

No, Wyoming attorneys monitor their own progress and verify their own completion once the course has been completed.

Does Attorney Credits report my CLE hours to the Wyoming State Bar?

No. Attorney Credits does not report your completed courses to the Wyoming State Bar Association. Wyoming attorneys are required to self-report their hours. We do maintain a record of all your completed courses and you can access your certificates of completion at anytime from our website.

How do I report the completion of my CLE requirement at the end of my compliance period?

Wyoming attorneys must self-report all CLE hours on the Wyoming State Bar website by January 15 in order to avoid being assessed a $300 delinquency fee. Credit hours reported after March 1 for CLE activities completed during the previous calendar year will not be accepted.
