A toxicologist for over two decades, Dr. Allison Muller works with attorneys across the country on cases that involve drug or alcohol issues. In this CLE she will introduce key toxicology concepts in civil cases by explaining drug levels & impairment, BAC levels & signs of visible intoxication, common false positives & negatives, and expected effects from common street & prescription drugs. Dr. Muller will also cover: metabolites, detection time, route of administration, pharmacokinetics, absorption, distribution, elimination, the Urine Drug Screen (UDS), Toxicology Reports, Drug Screens, benzodiazepines, opiates, amphetamines, Dram Shop & liquor liability cases, the visibly intoxicated standard and pharmacodynamics. She will crystalize the issues by analyzing six case examples from her practice.
Dr. Muller is a board-certified toxicologist, fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, and registered pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience in the field of clinical toxicology.
