Attorney Credits' Vermont Continuing Legal Education courses have all been pre-approved by the Vermont CLE Board. Vermont attorneys must complete 24 credit hours every two years, including 2 credit hours of legal ethics, 1 hour of bias & diversity and 1 hour of attorney wellness. A maximum of 6 credit hours of online CLE courses may be applied to the annual VT CLE requirement. An attorney subject to reporting for the current reporting period must file either a certification of completion of the Rule 3 MCLE requirements or a makeup plan. If you complete more than 24 hours in a reporting period, any excess hours earned during the second year of the reporting period may be used to fulfill the next requirement.
