Attorney Credits' NM CLE courses have all been approved for self-study credit by the New Mexico MCLE Board. New Mexico attorneys must complete 12 credit hours every year, including 2 credit hours of legal ethics or professionalism. A maximum of four (4) credit hours of online and downloadable self-study CLE courses may be applied to the annual NM MCLE requirement. The compliance period ends on December 31 and the deadline to report your NM MCLE compliance without penalty and suspension is May 1. A maximum of twelve (12) hours earned in one reporting year may carryover to the next year, including up to two (2) ethics/professionalism credits. Self-study credits cannot be carried over. No credit may be carried over for more than one (1) compliance year.
