6 Steps to Improved Client Relationships and Communications

What would be possible if you could read your client to figure out what she really wants? What if your clients really trusted you because they felt understood? How many clients have you lost because of a personality clash?

This MCLE class will introduce you to the concept of personality as it relates to client communications and interactions. We have all had clients who:

– Never seems to be satisfied with your results
– Wants to have their hand held through everything
– Never gets you the information you request on time
– Seems to be afraid of you, or seems to think you’re mad at them
– Cries a lot in your meetings

Differences in personal styles can be a source of either conflict or increased effectiveness in daily interactions. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® is a tool to help individuals increase awareness of their own strengths and preferred styles while enhancing their understanding and appreciation for the styles of others. This workshop introduces the Myers-Briggs and begins an exploration of how it can be used to improve client communication and relationships.

The main topics covered in the course include engaging difficult clients, clients & personality preferences, the action plan and results. Further topics addressed include your brain on stress, the ABCs, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI), personality preferences, the four type pairs and the benefits of understanding personality differences. The course addresses these six common client communication issues:
1. Why won’t this client stop talking talking talking?
2. Why doesn’t that client speak up?
3. Hello? What the heck is going on in there?
4. What does your client really want?
5. Why is this client so emotional (or such a jerk?)
6. Why can’t that client do anything on time?

This exploration and learning of the neurosciences has given Mr. Sankary new insight into how our brains function and how our decisions are formulated.
