Yes, under the Alabama MCLE requirements we must monitor your course attendance and completion. For online streaming video courses you must click on randomly inserted pop ups during the video to confirm that you are viewing the course.

Does Attorney Credits report my MCLE hours to the Alabama MCLE Commission?

Yes, Attorney Credits does report your completed courses to the Alabama MCLE Commission. Our automated attendance reports run weekly on Thursday. We report through the Alabama website normally within two business days of the report running. In addition, we also maintain a record of all your completed courses and you can access your certificates of completion at anytime from our website.

How do I report the completion of my MCLE requirement at the end of my compliance period?

You must check your online transcript to confirm that you have completed all your required AL MCLE by December 31. You can view your transcript at any time by logging in to your account on the Alabama State Bar website. If you receive a notice of non-compliance around the end of January or beginning of February, you have until February 15 to submit a corrected MCLE transcript indicating compliance or submit a deficiency plan with the $100 late compliance fee.

With Attorney Credits convenient online, on-demand Alabama CLE (Continuing Legal Education) courses, Alabama attorneys can complete their AL CLE courses on their own schedule from the comfort of their home or office. We are an Approved Provider of CLE in Alabama and all of our online streaming video courses have all been pre-approved for Alabama CLE credit by the Alabama CLE Department. Under the Alabama CLE Rules, attorneys may complete up to 6 CLE credits through online CLE courses as part of the annual 12 unit Alabama State Bar CLE requirement.

Alabama attorneys must complete 12 Alabama state bar CLE credit hours each annual compliance period, including 1 mandatory hour of legal ethics. CLE credits for the Alabama CLE year must be completed by midnight of December 31. Alabama attorneys no longer file an annual CLE report. You must check your online transcript to confirm that you have completed all your required AL CLE by December 31.
